REUNITED (AND IT FEELS SO GOOD)

The Typing Explosion will REUNITE for 10 glorious days this fall (Sept 23rd-Oct 1st)! Typing from Toronto through New England to New York City, the Dianes will be joining forces with the Wave Books Poetry Bus Tour for the biggest literary event of 2006!

Stopping at 50 cities in 50 days, the Wave Books Poetry Bus Tour will include over one hundred poets (along with musicians, filmmakers and journalists) who will traverse North America, bringing innovative poetry to big cities and small towns across the U.S. and Canada. BON VOYAGE, DIANE!

a brief elaboration (haiku)

everything means this:
KEEP DANCING. That's all there is.
a kiss. whiskey. stars.

Sadly, the Dianes are retiring from the Typing Pool, and Typing Explosion Union Local 898 is coming to a close. But on Saturday, December 4th, you will have one more chance to celebrate over six years worth of poetry and performances as these three lovely ladies work their collaborative magic on revving Smith-Coronas. Returning to their roots with a flurry of guerilla-style, poetry-on-command Type-Ins, you will find them at various locations throughout Seattle over the course of the day, including the NW Film Forum on Capitol Hill and Zeitgeist Coffee in Pioneer Square, where the troupe had its very first show. It's your last chance to get your own official Typing Explosion document and to watch the final Explosion live. Flowers, gifts, lovenotes and (silent) condolences will be accepted.

To leave a Bon Voyage message for Diane, Diane, or Diane, please call the Typing Explosion Hotline: (206) 328-5566.
